standpoint は単独でも使えますが、特に from a/an ... standpoint（〜の観点から）という形でよく使われます。例: from a legal standpoint（法律的な観点から）。

standpoint は「立場」や「判断する位置」を少し強調します。viewpoint は「意見・見方」、perspective は「広い視野・ものの見え方」を表すことが多いです。
